What we do

Real insight from students
who got there.

The Pathfinders Initiative runs free online sessions for secondary school students and their parents — covering everything from medicine and law applications to Oxbridge preparation and the 11+ exam.

Each session is led by a current student at a leading UK university: someone who has recently navigated the exact process your child is now preparing for. They know what applications really look like from the inside, what actually makes a difference, and what they wish someone had told them earlier.

There are no catch-up fees, no upsells, and no pressure. A student registers, attends, and leaves with more than they came in with. That is the whole point.

Our ethos

Free. And always will be.

"The guidance that shapes a student's application should not depend on a family's ability to pay for it."

The difference between a strong university application and a weak one often comes down to knowing what to do — when to start, how to structure a personal statement, what an interviewer is actually listening for. That knowledge exists. It just isn't evenly distributed.

The Pathfinders Initiative exists to close that gap. Every session is free to attend. No registration fee, no premium tier, no commitment of any kind. A student attends, learns from someone who has been exactly where they are, and leaves with a clearer path ahead.
